I've peen talking about getting a bird for a wile now.
welp he's FINNALY here

We decided to name him Griffin

he is a 4 month old Cockateil.
from petsmart
he loves PSY and William Pherrell
hhe mimics my phone ring aand he barks apperantly
he is shy but is full of pwrsonality.Griffin will grow a few more inches.

if you can give me a few tips on bird/cockateil ownership, care and ttraining let e k ow

OH, something i forgot to mention. When they lose feathers during molting (or any other reason) you have to open the mature pin feathers. he'll tell you if they aren't ready, but be careful. a immature one broken will cause him to bleed and you have to stop if or he could bleed out. i can tell you how to open the mature ones and how I spot them on my girl if you want. also, if you don't open the mature feathers, they cause damaged to the new feather. you only open the ones he can't reach ( head and neck) but only do it if he's comfortable.
